Audit Tracker: Application Access and Assistance

Overview:

All users must register in order to access to the Audit Tracker application.

Audit Firm Users

  • Go to the Register page and create your account using the email address provided by your firm.
  • Select "Audit Firm User" from the Requested Role dropdown, then choose your specific audit firm.
  • You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address.
  • After verification, your account will be reviewed by an administrator.
  • Once approved, you will receive a notification and gain access to the system.

District Users

  • Go to the Register page and create your account using the email address provided by your firm.
  • Select "District User" from the Requested Role dropdown, then choose your specific district.
  • If your email address already exists in the Chancellor's Office system, you may not be required to complete email verification.
  • If verification is required, you will receive an email prompting you to confirm your address.
  • You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address.
  • After verification, your account will be reviewed by an administrator.
  • Once approved, you will receive a notification and gain access to the system.

Other Users

Users who need access but do not fall into the categories above should contact the program mailbox directly for assistance.

What You Need to Do:

  • Register for the application using the Register page.
  • If prompted, verify your email by clicking the link sent to you.
  • Wait for an approval notification.
  • Once approved, log in and confirm you can access the system and have the expected application permissions.

Overview:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for enhanced security during the sign-in process. Users must set up MFA after accepting their invitation to access the Audit Tracker application.

Recommended MFA Applications:

  • Microsoft Authenticator Mobile App
  • Google Authenticator Mobile App
  • Google Authenticator Mobile App
  • Authenticator.cc Browser Extension (Chrome, Edge, and Firefox)

Steps to Set Up MFA:

  • Follow the instructions provided in the invitation email to configure MFA on your device.
  • You may use any of the recommended MFA applications or another supported by your organization.

Resetting or Transferring MFA

If you have previously configured MFA to access the application but then change or lose your phone, you will need to complete a MFA reset
  • Reach out to the Chancellor's Office support email (please see, ) to request an MFA reset.
  • After the reset is confirmed, sign into the application again.
  • When prompted by the system, repeat the MFA setup process above to configure MFA on your new device.
